An update on the Carrie: The Musical cast recording:
“We know you are anxious to get news on our upcoming releases — Carrie. We’re anxious to give you news! Please rest assured that we are working as quickly as we can to get the music to you, but there are many, many elements to get in place to make an excellent album: recording, mixing, mastering, booklet artwork, manufacturing of CDs, communication with the digital outlets — to name a few! We pride ourselves on putting out the best albums possible and that takes some time. We promise to update you as soon as there is news on release dates for these albums and appreciate your patience and love.” - The Sh-K-Crew, Ghostlight Records

My absolute favorite part comes in at 1:32, which I completely forgot about until I was going through the audio. It’s the audience’s reaction to Carrie being stabbed by her mother. In that exact moment, I knew that the audience had found affection for this show, despite it’s history.
