This is a post from a friend of mine who is the Production Stage Manager for this amazing new opera.
Now, I’m sure you’re thinking, why should I care? Well I’ll tell you why. I was lucky enough to get to see the workshop performances of this new opera, and let me tell you it’s amazing! I loved every moment of the show….about football!?!!!
Now hear me out, I’m sure it’s not something you’d expect, but this show is engaging and exciting the whole time. The music and lyrics are phenomenal and even made me begging to watch the events of Superbowl playoffs unfold.
It’s a great new show by some wonderful new artists in the New York theatre. And besides, you’ll get to say you knew about it before everyone else did.
